Any place where people meet needs rules. In order to make this forum a place where people enjoy talking to each other about our mutual hobby I decided to frame the following rules of conduct:

• Be nice to each other, treat others the same way you'd like to be treated.
• No hate speech. Every opinion can be expressed without the use of harsh language and/ or name calling.
• No racism of any kind.
• No politics unless related to photography.
• No copyright infringement of any kind allowed, you are only allowed to share photos for which you are the copyright holder. Members who infringe on the copyright of others will be temporarily banned.
• No pornography (neither files nor links).
• No illegal content. Everything that is prohibited according to Swiss laws  is also forbidden in these forums. Members who post illegal content (or links to such content) will be permanently banned.
• The forum languages are English and German. You are allowed to post in either of the two without the need of translation.
• You are also allowed to post in any other language but only if you provide translation into either English or German in the same post. The translation does not need to be perfect but it has be understandable.
• This is no file sharing platform so no sharing of multimedia content like audio or video files unless related to your photography. Links to content on file sharing platforms are also forbidden unless you are the copyright holder of the linked content.
• As long as none of the above mentioned rules are violated this forum follows the principles of freedom of speech and expression. No posts and content will be deleted only because somebody does not like it (admin included).
• If you think a certain post violates the forum rules please feel free to notify the admin (there are currently no mods). It will then be decided if the post in question violates any of the forum rules.
• No advertisement allowed. Post solely created to advertise a certain product will be deleted and the user will be warned.

If there is a violation appropriate measures will be taken like deleting a post, editing a post, moving a post to the correct sub-forum etc. If a member frequently and/ or severely violates the forum rules further steps might be taken like issuing a warning and/ or a temporary or even permanent ban.

If there is a contradiction between the English and the German version of a rule, directive or prohibition the English version prevails.
